Hi there! Nice to meet you.
Thanks for taking the time to get to know us better. We love to make new friends.
So what are we all about then?
Experience the difference Nature Tours of Yukon makes.
Nature adventures are only as good as your guide. Despite
all the intricate planning that goes into creating a superlative nature
adventure, we know a successful trip can only happen with an
extraordinary guide at the helm. That’s why we're proud to have a
collection of fine Yukon wilderness guides! Not many companies undertake
in-depth guide training as we do. Nature Tours of Yukon has the most
experienced guides available in Yukon.
The smallest groups in the industry. Can you imagine
trying to walk silently along a secluded trail, careful not to disturb
wildlife, with 20 or 30 other travelers? Or watching the northern lights in pristine boreal wilderness with dozens of other
tourists at your side? We know that meaningful nature encounters must
take place in small groups. That's why our trips average just five to
twelve guests, by far the smallest groups in the industry. This not only
guarantees you much more personal close-up wildlife encounters, it also
ensures a lower-impact presence on the planet's special places we all
love.
The best vehicles. As a company that offers
adventures all over Yukon, Alaska and Northwest Territories, we use many
different types of vehicles, from 4x4 luxury cars for exploring the
arctic and ice roads to vans and trailers to transport you and your
equipment to river or trail. The one consistent element is that our
vehicles are always the best available, providing the safest and most
comfortable ride. Further, with our uncompromising small-group policy,
we also limit the number of travelers in each vehicle to below capacity
(and well below the number other companies place in them), ensuring a
more comfortable and more personalized nature experience.
We won’t cancel! If you've ever experienced the
disappointment of having your long-awaited adventure canceled at the
last minute because the tour company didn’t sell enough spaces, you’ll
appreciate our promise never to cancel a trip due to low enrollment.
That’s right - If we confirmed a departure to you, we’re going!
We know our way around the North. We kicked the
tires of planes, buses and cars, we have driven almost every mile of
highway and know the back roads. We paddled the rivers, walked the
trails, been licked by sled dogs, snowshoed the mountain trails, spent
nights under the stars and watched the Aurora Borealis.
Nature Tours of Yukon is based in Whitehorse for 30
years. We are a member of Wilderness Tourism Association Yukon (WTAY),
Tourism Industry Association Yukon (TIA Yukon), Klondike Visitors
Association (KVA), and Canadian Inbound Tourism Association Asia Pacific

Our goal is to be your one-stop address for
year-round wilderness adventures, travel and accommodation in Yukon and
Alaska. Our team of skilled, professional, licensed guides and drivers
will always go the extra mile to provide you, our guest, with a safe,
enjoyable and unforgettable experience. We have many returning customers
who came as guests and left as friends.
