Nature Tours of Yukon's best Aurora viewing experience!

Enjoy 4 hours of Aurora viewing in the company of an experienced and enthusiastic Aurora hunter / photographer. At our cozy and unique Aurora cabin enjoy an array of Yukon snacks that include smoked salmon, bison sausages and assorted cheeses. Also hot drinks, marshmallows and a roaring campfire are provided to make your Aurora viewing a memorable experience.

With our uncompromising small-group policy, we limit the number of guests for each aurora viewing night to well below the number other companies have on one night, ensuring a more exclusive and more personalized Northern Light experience.

    Trip Notes

    DAY 1
    We’ll welcome you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel in downtown Whitehorse. It is located within walking distance of all attractions, restaurants, banks and stores. Information meeting and registration for optional tours at the hotel. Fitting of winter clothing, time for shopping and dinner on your own.

    9.30 pm departure for Aurora viewing. The cozy, heated Aurora cabin with hot drinks and Yukon snacks  (including smokes salmon, bison or elk sausages and assorted cheeses) makes your Aurora viewing even more enjoyable. Return to hotel around 2.00 am.

    DAY 2
    In the morning city tour.  Afternoon you can choose one of our optional tours.

    9.30 pm departure for Aurora viewing. Again, in the Aurora cabin hot drinks and snacks are provided. You can sit around a roaring fire and share stories. Return to hotel around 2.00 am.

    DAY 3 (and DAY 4)
    Morning at your leisure. Afternoon optional tour. 9.30 pm departure for Aurora viewing. Return to hotel around 2.00 am.

    Day 4 (Day 3 or Day 5)
    Transfer to the airport for your flight home.

      • Average temperatures at this time of winter are between -2° and - 24° Celsius (28 to -31 Fahrenheit), but extremes may be as low as -45° Celsius (-50 Fahrenheit). We ask you to bring adequate clothing to withstand these temperatures. Upon request you can rent a clothing package from Nature Tours of Yukon.
      • You will be required to sign a 'release of claims and waiver of liability' form prior to the departure of this tour.
